Properties (sites & domains)
A property is one domain protected by a Cookie Munch banner. The Properties page (sidebar → Properties) is where you add, verify, and manage every domain in your organization.
Adding a property
Click Add property and fill in:
Domain — e.g.
acme.com. Cookie Munch normalizes this (stripshttps://, lower-cases it) and derives a unique site ID (cbid) from it, such asacme-com-9f3k.Platform — Web, iOS, Android, AMP, or Other. This only tailors the install guidance shown to you; it doesn't change the embed tag.
Each property card shows its domain, platform, cbid (click to copy), verification status, and quick links to the banner Studio and the cookie declaration table.
Note: Free-tier organizations can have up to 50 properties — sites are effectively unlimited on every plan. Paid tiers differ on monthly consent events, seats, and advanced features, not domain count. See plans & billing.
Verifying ownership
A newly-added property is Pending until you prove you control the domain. Click Verify on the card to open the verification dialog, which offers three methods:

Pick whichever method fits your workflow — DNS if you manage your zone file directly, meta tag or file upload if you only have access to the site's HTML. Verification is checked on demand, not continuously, so click Verify now again after you've made the change.
The active property
The sidebar's property switcher (below the organization switcher) shows which property is currently "active" — the one Banner Studio, Cookies, and other per-site pages operate on. Switch it from the dropdown, or click Set active on a property card. Switching is instant (no page reload) and is remembered across sessions on this device.
Installing and managing a property
Each card has an Install button that opens the copy-pasteable <script> snippet for that property — see installing the script for the full tag reference. From a property you can also jump straight to:
Banner Studio — design or assign the consent banner for this site.
Cookies — the auto-discovered cookie declaration table for this domain.
