Organization & members

Every property, banner design, and consent log belongs to an organization — the top-level container your team collaborates in. This page covers switching between organizations and managing who has access.

Organizations

The organization switcher sits at the top of the sidebar, showing the active org's name and your role badge. Click it to:

  • Switch to a different organization you belong to — this reloads the dashboard scoped to that org (properties, banners, members, everything is per-org).

  • New org — create another organization. You'll be its Owner.

Note: How many organizations you may own is capped by your account's plan (Free: 1, Starter: 3, Pro: 10, Scale: unlimited). Being invited as a member of someone else's org doesn't count against this limit. See plans & billing.

Team & roles

Go to Account → Team to see everyone with access to the current organization. Each row shows their email and role. Click Invite member to add someone:

  1. Enter their email.

  2. Choose a role: Admin, Member, or Viewer.

  3. Click Send invite.

What they can do

Owner

Owner

Full control, including billing and member removal. Every org has exactly one at creation; ownership isn't reassigned from this screen.

Admin

Admin

Manage properties, banners, and settings; invite and manage other members (cannot remove the Owner).

Member

Member

Manage properties and banners day-to-day; no access to billing or member management.

Viewer

Viewer

Read-only access — can view the dashboard, consent log, and analytics but not change configuration.

You can change anyone's role (except the Owner's) from the dropdown next to their name in the member list — the change takes effect immediately. To revoke access entirely, click Remove on their row and confirm; they lose access immediately.

Note: Seats are plan-limited (Free: 1, Starter: 3, Pro: 10, Scale: unlimited). The Team page shows a used / limit counter, and invites past the limit prompt an upgrade.

What roles gate

Role checks apply per-organization and cover configuration changes (properties, banner designs, settings, billing, member management). They're enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI — so a Viewer's API calls are rejected the same way the buttons are disabled for them.

Next steps

  • Plans & billing — seat limits, org limits, and feature gating per tier.

  • Properties — the domains this organization protects.

  • REST API — authenticate as a member/service account to automate org management.
